His own space...

Here Baltazar spends the most of the time when is at home...
The room is more like a base at this stage, he knows that is his room... but we use it more to change him, get dress and sleep him. (I Still I have to making sleep, but I love it..:)
I really like how is it ending his room, many of the thing that you can see have been gave us to us as a presents from very nice people, like the green old couch, a very good colombian friends gave it to us, the shelf a very nice neighbors that we had, the cot! a very good friend and colleague!, the goodnight wishes flags, my good Chilean friend made it special for Baltazar. So the room is made it with love of many people, that why we Iike! ...and becouse I didn't  have  to spend too much money in have a beautiful room for him.

The other space that we use a lot is  the living room and the kitchen area.
He has his own space with his favourite toys.
Something that I found very usefull is keep the toys very very orderly, so he can easily identify each toy. So I bought a small shelf, previously the toys were backed in the wall, but looked a little bit messy and he didn't use the toys too much, now loves his shelf and when he ends of play he returns it and puts them in order.
The other thing is they do not need many toys, many time he finish playing with the kitchen utensils. Just  few good toys are enough.
I try to buy toys that can help him with his development and his motor skills. I often go to the second hand market and I find very good wooden toys very cheap.
You can check in different Montessori's pages which cain of toys are good for the age of your kid. That is what I do...
As we are talking of Montessori I found this very cool blog How we Montessori, you can read the experience of a mother which is very into Montessori teaching, and found very good ideas and links, very inspirational.

Well that it is for now...
