Hot Day
Finally dad is here... |
This weekend was very hot by these places. We were just baltazar and me. Tomi worked.
We thought spend the rest of the day inside of home, so we would avoid the heat... in fact was more fresh but also more boring.
So we decided go outside and "play" with water...
Failing of a pool the cookware were very useful.
So at the end from play with the water Baltazar finish all wet and naked...
We didn't had a pool but we didn't realize and Baltazar and me had a wonderful hot day.
We don't need too many things to be happy.

Our first conventional holidays as a traditional family
Whangarei Dream from Tomas Marin on Vimeo.
After 4 years as a family, this holidays are our very first conventional holiday as a traditional family, that means we got payed to chill. First time in our lives that we are working at the same time for more than a year, before our work situation was intermittent, or I was working and not Tomi or Tomi was working and not me…so we had to afford our holidays in a very hippie and limited way, that doesn´t mean that our new years weren't epic!…but this time was different, we didn`t have to worry about money, just rest after one year of hard work and learned how to live with a mini human who depends 100% of us. Even if we spent the new year countdown by putting Baltazar back to sleep since he woke up just 5 minutes before the countdown, was very relaxing and peaceful. The perfect holidays. Let see when and how finish this conventional way of family… hahha xxWednesday, 9 January 2013
Embracing Mountains (Project in progress)
![]() |
In the altiplano there's a boy living between the mountains. His place is the echo and the wind. All that he sees is the reflection of his imagination, in silence.
By Federico Abuye
While I was surfing the internet I came a cross with Federico Abuye site, an Argentinian Designer and autodidact illustrator and musician. Immediately I was amazed by his work, how with clean lines his work carried a strong meaning which is situated in the mystical plane, exploring concepts such a reality, time, unconscious, transcendence, spirituality and many more.
I contacted him and told him I was marveled with his work and asked if I could use one of his works to work on it in the way I like the most: thread and wools.
He was very kind and accepted straight away...
Here is the very beginning... |

1/52 After bath.
Ok. I didn't know how to start my blog so I took an idea that I really liked from Che and Fidel blog.
The 52 project. So once a week, every week I’m going to take a portrait of my son. So at the end of the year we can look back and see how much he change this year.
Time has passed very quickly and Baltazar is growing and growing and he is not a baby anymore, so I want to be more aware of his development and don't want miss any moment.
We gonna be mamas lifelong but he is going to be a baby just once..

Hello!
He is Baltazar...our inspiration for everything...
We are Andrea and Tomi, with Baltazar we are the perfect family. With the problems that every perfect family has.
For the last 3 years we have lived in Auckland, New Zealand. We came from Chile and has been a long and hard journey to be where we are...Where we are? I'm not sure but every day feels better...slowly better.
Baltazar was born on August 25 of 2011. We wanted a home birth but failed and ended up in the hospital, was a natural birth and 30 hours of labour, was a hard job and very painful but an amazing experience which every mother should have.

14 months |
16 month after he is a very friendly and funny boy with a strong character makes our days even more meaningful...
We got a big love for simple pleasures, friends, music, free time and healthy life style (we really try) and the most that I enjoy is doing hand made stuff in the most cases for Baltazar.
Well I'm not sure what this blog is about, but we can figure out together on the way...
P.D: Sorry for my bad English I'm trying to improve it, it is the only way to get a pay rise, as my boss want... otherwise this blog would be in Spanish..hahaha
Paz y amor para todos!
Baltazar,Tomi and Andrea
